Install Claritty Vision.
A pill sits in the corner of the page. Press it, do the task the way you always do, and stop. What you get back is an automation you read before it exists.

Download the extension
A folder, not an installer. Unzip it somewhere you will not delete by accident. Chrome loads it from that path every time it starts.
Open chrome://extensions
Paste that into the address bar. Chrome will not let a link take you there, so it has to be typed.
Turn on Developer mode
The switch is in the top right of that page. It is what allows an extension that did not come from the store.
Load unpacked, and pick the folder
Select the folder you unzipped. Claritty Vision appears in the list, and the Record pill appears on the next page you open.
There is no key to paste.
If you are signed in to Claritty, the extension recognises you. It reads your Claritty session and nothing else about your browsing, and it stays dormant until you point or press record. The one exception is your books: once you connect QuickBooks, it times how long a bill takes you, never what you type, and says so on the page.
