Power Automate is two products under one name. Cloud flows connect services through connectors, in the trigger-action shape. Power Automate Desktop records what you do in a Windows application or browser and replays it, which is how it reaches systems with no API. Desktop flows run on a Windows machine: yours while you watch, or one kept available for unattended runs.
